The early fall weather could not have been better this past Saturday for the Pemberwick Glenville Association’s 15th annual Party in the Park “Valley Jam” festival.
Residents from all over Greenwich were drawn to the “west side” of town to eat, relax and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities.
Valley Jam is a grassroots free admission celebration that brings the community together to support local businesses and nonprofits. The day included dance performances, cheer, music, food trucks, raffle prizes, giveaways, kids activities including “Big Kahuna slide!” and a showcase of local businesses and nonprofits.
Some of the bands comprising the “Live Music” facet of this exciting event included School of Rock Greenwich, CT Army National Guard Band Ripchord, PLUS Billy and the Showmen.
This year the focus was on the Glenville Beautification Project and working toward making Pemberwick and Glenville an official stop on the pollinator pathway.
