With an unwavering display of skill and resilience, the Lady Cardinals secured a resounding victory, marking a memorable moment in the team’s season.
Facing off against their FCIAC rivals, Darien, the Greenwich High School girls’ basketball team delivered a standout performance on the court. Despite facing three challenging losses prior to this game, the Lady Cardinals demonstrated their strength and unity, rallying together to claim a decisive win.
The Greenwich team showcased their depth and versatility throughout the game. Every member of the team played a crucial role in securing the victory, highlighting the cohesive and collaborative spirit that defines Greenwich High School’s basketball program.
The 54-28 triumph over Darien marked a significant milestone for the Lady Cardinals, securing their 10th win of the season.
Ayanna Davenport, Megan Geiger, Caroline McShea, Julia Monteiro, and Riana Xhekaj were celebrated for their dedication and contributions to the team. As the seniors were recognized for their commitment and leadership, their teammates, coaches, and fans alike showed their appreciation for their hard work and dedication throughout their high school basketball careers.
