Nature’s splendor took center stage on Sunday, October 1st, as the Greenwich Botanical Center hosted the highly anticipated Dazzling Dahlia Show. Floral enthusiasts and nature lovers gathered from near and far to witness the breathtaking display of these magnificent blooms, turning an ordinary Sunday into an extraordinary day of floral brilliance.
This annual event, in its 15th year for 2023, lived up to its name, promising and delivering a visual feast that left attendees in awe. From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Botanical Center was transformed into a dahlia wonderland, showcasing hundreds of astonishing dahlias, each one a testament to the artistry of nature.
For those who had never experienced the sheer beauty of dahlias up close, the Dazzling Dahlia Show offered a rare opportunity. The exhibit featured an astounding diversity of dahlia varieties, from the tiniest pompons to the grandest dinner plates. The kaleidoscope of colors, shapes, and sizes on display left visitors captivated and inspired.

At 3:00 p.m., the sale of these exquisite dahlia blooms began, allowing attendees to take home a piece of the dahlia wonderland and infuse their gardens with a burst of color. It was an opportunity not to be missed, and many left with these breathtaking flowers to grace their own outdoor spaces.
In addition to the exhibit and sale, the Dazzling Dahlia Show featured spectacular dahlia arrangements that were put up for auction. The proceeds from the auction will go toward future Dazzling Dahlia Shows, ensuring that this beloved annual tradition continues to flourish.
Reflecting on the event, the Greenwich Botanical Center expressed their gratitude, stating: “The sun came out for an ever so fabulous 15th annual Dazzling Dahlia Show!
