With a fantastic turnout and a plethora of activities, this year’s Cos Cob May Fair proved to be the ultimate family-friendly weekend event in the Greenwich area.
During the event, the Cos Cob School and its surrounding neighborhood transformed into a hub of laughter, excitement, and pure joy as attendees reveled in the festive atmosphere, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
The heart and soul of the May Fair were undoubtedly the thrilling rides. Kids and adults alike couldn’t resist the allure of the breathtaking ferris wheel, the exhilarating super slide, and the spinning teacups that brought squeals of delight. The classic dunk tank was also a hit, giving attendees the chance to soak a brave Cos Cob School teacher with a well-aimed throw.
Of course, all that excitement caused everyone to work up quite an appetite, and the May Fair was ready and willing to serve up plenty of delicious festival-flavored fare. The enticing aroma of pizza fritta, Scarpellis sausage, noodles, burgers, hot dogs, chili, and more filled the air, tantalizing taste buds from near and far. Fair treats like cotton candy, candy apples, and baked goods satisfied even the most discerning sweet tooth. With such a wide variety of delectable options available, every member of the family found something to please their palate.
As attendees enjoyed the mouthwatering food and thrilling rides, the air was filled with the enchanting sounds of live music. The talented performers set the perfect ambiance for a summer celebration, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere vibrant. From toe-tapping tunes to soul-stirring melodies, the music transported everyone to a place of pure bliss.
