Living Greenwich Dog of the Week - Xixi

Allow us to introduce our Living Greenwich Pet of the Week: a Pekingese named Xixi.

Xixi is a rambunctious two year old who recently moved to Greenwich Ave.

She enjoys barking in a high pitched ‘scream’ and biting her big brother Shaggy’s ears.

When she’s not being overly dramatic, she enjoys eating just about anything she finds on the floor.

The craziest thing she’s eaten and survived was a live Cicada!!!! It was still buzzing in her mouth!

She has a huge personality and defends her “hoomans” with the heart of a lion.

After all, the Pekingese is often referred to as ‘the little lion dog.

About Living Greenwich’s Pet of the Week Feature

In our Pet of the Week feature on Living Greenwich, we take a moment each week to celebrate one of the non-human residents of our community. Whether they’re dogs, cats, birds, or exotic pets of all kinds; these are the other cherished members of our families. They provide friendship. They entertain us. They improve our moods. They keep us smiling. And they’re also just so gosh-darn cute that we believe it’s time for the rest of Greenwich to be introduced to them, as well!

To have your pet considered for our Living Greenwich Pet of the Week feature, send at least 3 large photos and 4 or 5 important details about what makes them special (think: name, age, breed, favorite things, personality traits, amusing anecdotes, and more) to: patti@livinggreenwich.com.
