Mara, lambchop, Lucy (her middle name).

The naughtiest thing Maragold has ever done?

Ate a cigar and then got violently ill!

What are Maragold’s favorite things to do?

In the summertime she likes to sunbathe. In the winter she likes to make snow angels. In the fall she likes taking car rides and feeling the wind in her face. In the spring she likes to lay on the porch furniture and bark at everyone walking by.

A night watchman – Maragold is awake most of the evening and alerts us when she hears any type of strange noises.

Any kind of meat – Maragold is a carnivore

Bruce Park! She loves all that the park has to offer – running the bases on the baseball diamond, tennis, croquet, walking the tree lined paths.

Maragold would have a chauffeur. Although she has a good sense of direction, she is also very lazy. I can see her saying, “why drive when someone else can do it for me”?

Mara’s favorite person is her Mom because she hugs her during thunderstorms, lets her sleep in her bed, and sneaks her extra treats!

About Living Greenwich’s Pet of the Week Feature

In our Pet of the Week feature on Living Greenwich, we take a moment each week to celebrate one of the non-human residents of our community. Whether they’re dogs, cats, birds, or exotic pets of all kinds; these are the other cherished members of our families. They provide friendship. They entertain us. They improve our moods. They keep us smiling. And they’re also just so gosh-darn cute that we believe it’s time for the rest of Greenwich to be introduced to them, as well!

To have your pet considered for our Living Greenwich Pet of the Week feature, send at least 3 large photos and 4 or 5 important details about what makes them special (think: name, age, breed, favorite things, personality traits, amusing anecdotes, and more) to: patti@livinggreenwich.com.
