Let's Talk About Greenwich's Memorial Day Parades For 2021

As Memorial Day quickly approaches, there are some hopeful signs of a return to somewhat-near the old normal in Greenwich!

If you’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to get outside with your neighbors and welcome summer back to our town – then you’ll be happy to hear that (barring any unexpected news on the COVID-19 front) our popular Memorial Day Parades are ON for 2021 in Greenwich!

Current Memorial Day Parade Schedule in Greenwich
— The Byram Veterans Association Parade + Ceremony: 2PM on May 30th
— The Glenville Volunteer Fire Department’s Parade + Ceremony: 5PM on May 30th
— The annual Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department Parade (on Sound Beach Avenue) + Ceremony (in Binney Park): 9AM, May 31.

“This is another sign we’re heading towards the other side of this pandemic,” Greenwich CT First Selectman Fred Camillo recently stated. “These events are very, very important for the town, and for people to start to recapture the normalcy that was lost.”
