A ribbon-cutting on Greenwich Avenue marked the opening of RH Estates, The Gallery on Greenwich Avenue — the first standalone location for RH’s Estates concept anywhere in the world, and its debut in North America. Company leadership, including SVP of RH Galleries Jayne Cipollini, was joined by Greenwich’s Board of Selectmen for the ceremony outside the building’s arched entrance.
The gallery occupies a building across from RH Greenwich, The Gallery at the Historic Post Office, and near RH Outdoor Greenwich, extending the company’s footprint in the Greenwich Avenue Historic District to three connected properties. RH Estates was first shown at RH Milan during Salone del Mobile and introduced commercially with the opening of RH London; Greenwich now hosts its first freestanding gallery, ahead of a second planned for Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles in 2027. The building includes Cucina Angelina, an 88-seat Italian restaurant named for the mother of RH chairman and CEO Gary Friedman, Angelina Ascari, with a menu built around Italian classics and wood-fired pizzas.
Inside, the gallery’s Great Room centers on a wrought-iron staircase with gold-leaf detailing, rising above limestone floors beneath a cornice-and-medallion ceiling. The Estates collection draws on work from designer Michael Taylor — described by Architectural Digest as one of the 20 greatest interior designers of all time — along with reproductions from Formations and upholstery from Dmitriy & Co, both recent RH acquisitions. A wall display near the entrance lays out the brand’s design philosophy in text framed around Vitruvian proportion, flanked by a pair of gilded candlesticks.

Additional Information: Cucina Angelina Debuts Inside RH’s New Greenwich Gallery
Cucina Angelina sits behind its own storefront entrance with a separate street address, distinct from the gallery doors. Inside, European oak millwork wraps the dining room, with herringbone floors, velvet banquettes and a coffered ceiling running the length of the space. A marble-topped bar off the main hospitality area serves cocktails and wine.
The gallery’s upper floors are arranged as a sequence of furnished rooms — bedrooms with canopy drapery and tapestry-print wallcoverings, living rooms centered on oversized glass chandeliers, sculpture displayed on stone plinths — connected by mirrored hallways that extend the sightlines room to room. Street-facing windows on the second floor look directly across Greenwich Avenue toward the retail block opposite, placing the gallery inside the same commercial stretch it’s designed to draw shoppers along.
The Gallery is open daily; Cucina Angelina’s hours vary by day of the week, with later closing times Friday and Saturday. Both are accessible directly from Greenwich Avenue.
