It is the event that many of you have been waiting for!!! It is finally time!!
Each year thousands of people come to St. Roch’s Parish in Chickahominy to experience the St. Roch’s Feast – one of the best street festivals in the area!!
The Feast has a long history in the community – stretching back to the Italian immigrants who settled in Chickahominy and the generations of families they’ve raised there – and the pride they take in this annual event is evident. Smiles are on the faces of children, as parents and grandparents (with their own childhood memories of St Roch’s Feasts long past) introduce the younger generation to the summer fun.
Beginning Wednesday August 10th and running through Saturday August 13th, friends, neighbors and guests come, rain or shine, to taste the many delicious meals and Italian specialties including the Feast’s famous pizza fritta (hands down the best pizza fritta anywhere!!), steaks, sausage and peppers, hamburgers, hot dogs and lots more – all guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
Looking for more??? Stroll over to the wine and beer garden, enjoy a beverage and relax under the stars while LIVE nightly entertainment fills the air with music and dance.
During the Feast, our family-friendly midway has many thrilling and fun-filled rides and games for children of all ages. There are prizes for everyone!
